Asuka Hishiki holds a Master of Fine Arts from Kyoto City University of Arts in Japan, where she studied oil painting. Plants and nature are always her inspiration. She painted wildflowers while she was in Japan, but after moving to New York City, she transitioned to illustrations of colorful and uniquely shaped vegetables and fruits, many of which were new and exciting experiences.
